In the Footsteps of Marie Curie

You play the role of young scientists working alongside Marie Curie, helping her with her research. Together, you’ll discover radium, conduct experiments, improve your laboratory, write thesis and win Nobel prizes!

Using the machine in her laboratory, represented by a cube tower, you can manipulate and transform your resources to carry out various experiments on pitchblende, uranium and radium. You can also enhance your workshop with cards that offer various bonuses.

By writing Thesis, you can collect increasingly interesting bonuses.

HOW TO PLAY ? On your turn, you’ll follow 4 steps:

Use the Workshop machine: here, you take the cubes indicated on the Workshop tile from the reserve and throw them into the cube tower. Those that fall to the bottom of the tower are available for your research!

Research: in this phase, you must choose between collecting resources from the bottom of the tower or writing a Thesis. Your resources are placed in your Erlenmeyer flask. If you choose to take a Thesis, you’ll receive the bonuses indicated on the Thesis tile.

Carry out your experiments: here, you can undertake a number of actions, in the order of your choice, such as buying an Activity card, transforming resources, validating your Personal Objective or validating Experience tiles.

Rest: this is the end of your turn! Check the number of resources in your Erlenmeyer flask and move the Workshop marker to the next square. Over the course of the game, you’ll follow the major events in Marie Curie’s life through a timeline. Once you’ve reached the end of the timeline, the player with the most points wins the game!
