Sales and Return Policy
During the Holiday Season, our normal exchange policy has been adjusted to make gift giving easier!
From November 15 2024 to December 31 2025, (Extended Exchange Period) any regularly priced items purchased in-store will be eligible for exchange in-store until January 15, 2025 or Thirty (30) days - whichever is greater. Please be aware that this Extended Exchange Period does not alter the refund periods as noted below - only the exchange/store credit period available for purchases is affected. All other requirements for exchange as noted in the In-Store Purchases section below still apply.
Additionally, please be aware that no returns/exchanges will be accepted during our Boxing Day Sale (December 26) under any circumstances.

Items ineligible for return
We are generally happy to return any product that is still in it's original packaging for refund and/or store credit, however there are a number of product types that we generally are unable to accept returns on, due to the fact that we are generally unable to ensure that they are in an as-new condition and have not been tampered with. As such, any items listed below do NOT qualify for refund under any circumstances, although we may be able to provide an exchange or in-store credit for items at management discretion:

If purchasing one of the above as a gift for someone else, we recommend that customers have a conversation with our staff regarding what we might be able to do to assist in ensuring that the item in question can be brought back for an exchange if necessary.
In-Store Purchases
We offer refunds on most products within fourteen (14) days, and exchanges for store credit within Thirty (30) days of the date of purchase as shown on the sales receipt.
In order to process a refund or exchange, we require the original sales receipt, a Gift Receipt or else the item(s) must have been purchased with a customer account attached to the original sale so that it can be located in the system. Additionally, the item being returned for refund or exchange must be in the same state as it was when originally purchased - all external wrap/seals must be intact for us to process a return or exchange.
Refunds for items returned within fourteen (14) days of the customer receipt date will be credited back to the original payment method. Items returned more than fourteen (14) days and less than thirty (30) days after the customer receipt date will receive store credit via Gift Card redeemable towards a future purchase either in-store or online.
Online Purchases
PLEASE NOTE - Only items shipped using our couriers (Canada Post, or FedEx) are eligible for a refund under this policy - Flat Rate shipments do not apply. Additionally, due to incompatibility between our eCommerce and Point of Sale systems, our retail location is not able to offer in-person refunds for products purchased online.
We offer refunds on most products sold online within Fourteen (14) days of customer receipt of their order, (as shown on the tracking information from the shipping courier,) and exchanges for store credit within Thirty (30) days of customer receipt of their order. Please note that restrictions on product returns is the same online as noted above. Refunds or Store Credit for accepted returns will be for the value of the product (plus applicable taxes) only - we are not responsible to refund the shipping cost for completed and accepted shipments.
If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason we ask that you kindly contact us by email by replying to your original order confirmation email, and we would be happy to discuss the issue with you. We will happily review any issues with your shipment, and determine appropriate next steps to resolve your issue.
Should we provide a RMA for the product(s) in question, you can return your items for a refund or exchange to us at your cost via Canada Post or FedEx with tracked and insured shipping - unless otherwise stipulated by store management, the cost of the return shipping for the item(s) in question to Mission: Fun & Games is the sole responsibility of the customer. Once the product has been returned to our warehouse and inspected, refund for the value of the product(s) being returned will be returned to the original payment method (if the return is arranged within the 14 day refund period,) or to a store Gift Card (if arranged after the refund period.) Outside of rare exceptional circumstances necessitating review and approval from business management, no refunds will be offered for the cost of shipping under any circumstances.
In addition to the restrictions noted in our in-store returns policy, the following items are ineligible for any exchanges or refunds under the following circumstances:
- Orders shipped internationally (outside of Canada)
- Any wooden products, or products under the Classic Games category
- Any Games Workshop items
Refunds for items arranged to be returned within fourteen (14) days of the customer receipt date will be credited back to the original payment method. Items arranged to be returned more than fourteen (14) days and less than thirty (30) days after the customer receipt date will receive store credit via Gift Card redeemable towards a future purchase either in-store or online.
If you have an exchange for the same dollar amount, the cost to reship and/or handling charges will be incurred unless this was an error on our part.
