Medieval Academy is a fast, dynamic family game. It is a simple card game with very intuitive rules: When you play a red 3 card, you move 3 spaces on the red track. The core of the game is the card drafting between players. Choices have to be made every turn. The gameplay is fluid, as everyone plays at the same time, and it is very interactive. The depth of the gameplay comes from thoughtful timing and risk taking in each round versus long-term planning for the whole game. And the added strategic levers of the back of the board will make players come back.
