Insert for Tapestry
The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The boards and rule books act as a lid on top of the trays.
The insert is arranged in up to two layers, with space on one side for the civilization and capital city mats (more on this below).
Each player receives their own player tray, and the territory tiles tray can be used to randomly dispense these face down tiles instead of the bag from the expansion. Each building type of group is separated to make setup faster.
The large card tray goes at one end of the box. The tray has space for all cards to be sleeved. Note that the square masterpiece card deck is stored together with the landmark card deck in a single slot.
Once the insert trays are packed into the box you need to place the city and civilization mats in a stack on top of the player trays. The bag can be rolled up and placed in the gap. Next place the main game board and the smaller boards on top of the insert. These are followed lastly by the rule books. Once fully loaded the box is filled to the top, allowing for vertical storage.
