Eternal Night of Lockwood is a campaign and feature-length adventure for ZWEIHÄNDER Fantasy Horror RPG. It is a series of urban and wilderness quests, and if your characters survive the perils of the Eternal Night, they become Advanced Tier before the story’s end. As a sandbox adventure, it’s playable on its own or can be dropped into your current ZWEIHÄNDER campaign.
Folk Horror in the Woods
Five days ago, on a sunny afternoon, a starless, moonless night fell over Lockwood and Ertol.
The sudden darkness poured over the sky like cream over a cake. Panic immediately set in, and Ertol’s citizens hoarded food, stole supplies, and stockpiled weapons. But the Eternal Night brought another kind of frenzy. Many people turned violent over the pettiest grievances, nearly forgotten grudges, and superficial differences. The Eternal Night is more than darkness. It is chaos.
The people living in Lockwood are on their own, sealed inside a black bubble with horrors beyond imagination. Only they can find the source of the Eternal Night and free themselves from the terror. If not, they will perish as victims of monsters, starvation, and their own violent frenzies.
From Lockwood & Beyond
Eternal Night of Lockwood presents all-new tools players can use in their struggles in the world of ZWEIHÄNDER RPG. New backgrounds, professions, arcane spells, and more can be found within. Gamemasters will also find an expanded bestiary of 21 new threats to use in their game, along with massive fold-out maps of Lockwood by Francesca Baerald and of Ertol by Kyle Latino. Plenty of perforated cut-outs accompany the adventure in the back, to hand out to players as they unravel the mysteries of the Eternal Night. Plus, enough supplementary quests and material to continue the story in and around Ertol well after the campaign ends.
