- Colt Express, Marshal and Prisoners
Base Game
Each player has 10 Action cards, 6 Bullet cards and a Bandit figure of the same color. The game is played over 5 rounds. You start in one of the two tail cars of the train. In each round, a “scenario” card is drawn randomly, it indicates how the players must program their Action cards: face up, face down, 2 at a time... During this phase, the Action cards of each player are placed on a common pile in turn order. This is Schemin’.
Actions are only performed in a second phase: Stealin’. This is the time when things don’t necessarily go as planned. Each Bandit moves, steals loot, climbs on the roof, shoots, punches, or lures the Marshal, depending on the Plan played previously. Each round, the Bandits start at the position where they finished the previous round.
Bullets received from other players cause you to lose actions. If you shoot well, you’ll be awarded the title of ‘‘Gunslinger’’ and a bonus of $ 1000. At the end of the game, the richest bandit wins.
Expansions:
- Marshal & Prisoners
You can now play the Marshal and there are prisoners who can help you if you free them. - Horses and Stagecoach
There are horses for more movement and a stagecoach with rich but annoying passengers.
